Taste Hungary is a wine importer and wholesaler/distributor, owned and operated by Carolyn and Gábor Bánfalvi. We self-distribute in Washington, DC, focusing on small-batch, high-quality Hungarian wines.

We deliver free of charge in DC, with a minimum order of $250. We offer a 10% discount on orders at least 48 bottles.

We have deep ties with Hungary—including a wine tour business and a wine shop/tasting room—through which we have developed close relationships with our producers over the past 12 years.
We seek unique native varietals, traditional styles, and special Hungarian blends.
We offer good prices, achieved through our relationships, knowledge of the Hungarian wine landscape, and desire to educate consumers on Hungarian wine and turn them into fans.

We are always eager to develop relationships with retailers, restaurants, and bars, who are interested in our unique, high-quality, low-volume wines from Hungary.
